Winter Memories ❄️

Winter is definitely one of my favorite months to spend with you. Turks and Caicos with your family was an amazing time not because of the material niceness or that fire omelet bar, but because I had the opportunity to spend so much close time with you and your family. Even if Ali isn’t there we should still do the banana boating this year.

It was so great to celebrate your birthday with all of our close ones. You truly are loved so much and it is obvious why.

Also, we have to go back to that German restaurant and you will get more holiday martinis. Sorry for all the times Yul and Wendell ended up in bed w/ us, I will do better to kick them out in the future ;).

Spring Memories 🌸

Springtime in Ithaca was cold as usual, but we made sure to make the most of it with many trips to Adams Corner after date nights. I had so much fun watching you make funny faces in my new CarPlay screen and it was so nice when your family visited.

We had so many good meals together, whether at a restaurant or a park, I have never had a bad one with you. Hopefully let’s go back to Ithaca sometime not too far in the future and we can hit all of our favorite spots together.

I can’t believe that we graduated, I am so unbelievably proud of you! You did what 99% of people would die trying to do and came out the other side stronger because of it. Your course load coupled with becoming a crew chief for EMS shows your strength and I hope you never forget that when things get tough.

Summer Memories ☀️

Soo much happened this past summer. We spent a ton of time at the beach, went back to Ithaca, then to my place, and then you helped me move in to my new apartment.

I love biking around Surf City with you and I will admit… you are better at pickleball than me… right now at least (I will get u next szn). Next time we are home, we also are 100% going back to Cantinas for those nachos, they were sooo good.

It meant a lot that you helped me move in and thanks for cleaning, unpacking, and just making the process so easy. Also, I still don’t know if BCD is better than Ziggy’s, I guess we have to go again to find out.

Fall Memories 🍂

Fall has to be my favorite time with you. Even though we have been busy, we have still made so many unforgettable memories together. Watching you smack golf balls into the woods, pick stuff from the garden, and make homemade pasta sauce all with the most beautiful energy in the world makes me so excited for the future. I can’t wait to make another fire together, you look so cute with a headlamp on.

KBBQ is always so good w/ you and you are def a Shabu affiliate. Also, Wilmington is not too bad when we are together and we have to run back that bike ride in the marsh once it gets a bit warmer (hopefully we will get a bike for free again). And don’t get me started on Houston’s, new #1 fav place.

Visiting the beach was a blast even if it was a bit chilly and I am glad we saved that butterfly. It is always so peaceful and I love our walks to baby beach and house hunting far out of our price range. So excited to go back again and again.

Dear Bella,

We made so many great memories together this year. When I think about my favorite experiences, I see you sitting by the fire with a headlamp on, stealing tomatoes out of the garden, and fighting off Yul and Wendell. My mind goes to our late night BCD Tofu House run and biking in Central Park during an absolute downpour (we really thought we were in a movie…)

I have watched you carry more on your plate than most people could ever handle. Classes + Crew Chief + everything else and you still show up with real kindness, only because you care so much. This care that you show is part of why I love you so dearly, never stop being you.

Being with you has changed the way I think about the future. I cannot wait for the day that we can come home from work and talk about our days over soup.

I love you for everything. Thank you for letting me be part of your world and for making my life feel so much fuller than I could ever imagine.
